Following recent years of local hike money raising challenges, a team of 30+ staff took on the National 3 Peaks Challenge climbing Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England and Snowdon in Wales. Most managed to complete the challenge within 24 hours of total travel and others a targeted 13 hours of walking and a round trip of 820 miles from their offices in Adelphi Mill in Bollington, an initiative led by COO David Harrison.
This year it was 3 peaks and therefore 3 charities… East Cheshire Hospice, Mind and The Christie at Macclesfield. Adelphi were again delighted to receive recognition and support funding for The Christie from the Enterprise Foundation.
Enterprise have contributed more than $354 million to thousands of local non-profits focused on community improvement, education and environmental stewardship. Commitments range from global philanthropic initiatives to community-focused projects.
Stuart Cooper, CEO, commented “I am extremely proud of our team of staff from our offices in Bollington, London and Amsterdam, who took on this difficult challenge in extremely poor weather conditions, with pouring rain and 45mph winds in some places. They worked together to achieve this fantastic result and have been impressively supported to raise this fantastic amount for the charities”.
